We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to support our Category Managers in executing key category management functions. The role will focus on Buying Days preparation, follow-ups, assortment planning, and strategy execution, ensuring efficient coordination between internal teams and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organization, and a passion for retail and product management.

Buying Days Support

  • Assist in the preparation of Buying Days, ensuring all necessary data, product details, and vendor presentations are ready.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather and organize product information before Buying Days.
  • Support in compiling product performance insights, trend analysis, and historical data to aid decision-making.

Buying Days Follow-ups

  • Track and document key decisions, action points, and next steps post Buying Days.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely execution of agreed-upon actions.
  • Update product databases and ensure all SKUs, pricing, and assortment details are accurately recorded.

Category Management Support

  • Provide analytical support to Category Managers by tracking sales performance and assortment effectiveness.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Seasonal Assortment Support

  • Support the SKU allocation process, ensuring the right product mix across stores and online channels.
  • Cross-check product listings, pricing, and availability to ensure seamless execution of seasonal assortments.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to monitor product flow and inventory levels.

Strategy Preparation Support

  • Assist Category Managers in developing category and product strategies through data analysis and market research.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that highlight key category insights, growth opportunities, and action plans.
  • Help implement category initiatives in alignment with overall business goals.

You impress us - your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or retail buying.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Passion for retail, trends, and product management.
