The Center of Excellence at Fielmann is part of the Supply Chain Management division, which brings together the central planning and control of production and logistics. In this role, it creates transparency in the flow of goods, provides a reliable data foundation for informed decision-making along the supply chain, and continuously improves processes for greater efficiency. This role contributes significantly to the development and maintenance of automated data structures used for analysis and reporting.

Together, we set the standards for the future – your responsibilities 

  • Understand data and analysis needs within Supply Chain Management and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain processes for the acquisition, modeling, and provision of data for analysis and reporting
  • Ensure data quality through continuous monitoring, regular checks, and by identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Platform team and external partners when needed to continuously optimize the central data platform and data processing framework
  • Create transparency on supply chain performance by defining and implementing KPIs and metrics, and by developing reports and dashboards
  • Analyze and interpret data to generate meaningful insights that support decision-making
  • Train and support teams across the Supply Chain organization in using data tools and methods to strengthen data literacy sustainably

You impress us - your profile

  • Completed degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
  • Ideally at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, including 1 year in a supply chain context
  • Strong proficiency in SQL – experience with Databricks or dbt is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Power BI or similar BI and visualization tools
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex topics clearly to different audiences
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style with a good sense of priorities and deadlines
  • Team-oriented mindset with the drive to develop practical and innovative solutions together
  • Proficiency in English, knowledge of German is a plus
